Acer Iconia W3

www.youtube.com/watch?v=RoZDMX2Gx90 Overall it seems like a decent device. IT revives the UMPC/MID concept. Since it is a full x86 computer it can run desktop operating systems. The battery life seems to be around that of other small tablets. The device is pocketable if you have pants with large pockets (like I do). Also the price is around 300-400 dollars depending on where you buy it. I might buy one to install Linux on. The lack of a wacom pen or resistive touch screen makes it a tough buy for me. Edit: Acer is making an improved version with a better screen and thinner design. |
