Aegis issue
Hey Maemo.org
I want to use the Debian repositories on my N9, but aegis is stopping me from installing any packages from it. I've looked for openmode, but all the links seem to be dead. I'd be thankful for any help, thank you. |
Re: Aegis issue
what exactly you want to do?
and openmode always here: http://maemo.cloud-7.de/HARM/N9/1.3/openmode-kernel/ |
Re: Aegis issue
1) That is a massively bad idea. Dependencies, and all.
2) Install Gentoo instead. 3) Alternatively, try Easy Debian - all the fun of Debian, none of the leftover mess after. |

The packages in the Debian repo are linked to Debian Squeeze/Wheezy/etc libraries, not Harmattan ones. Instead, just go and run Easy Debian - it's an actual Debian root filesystem, and chroot into that and Xephyr it onto the screen if you want graphical apps. If you still insist on running Debian repo packages straight onto Harmattan, I've got a costanza face coming. |
