You can run Ubuntu. But if you are talking about Ubuntu touch. I highly doubt it since it still alpha. But sure, it would be cool when it's more ready to use on daily basis.

Just like how pigs fly... I don't get why you always want $random_os on old hardware that is already running the only OS optimised for it (maemo5).

It has been explained to you several times that hardware adaptations are not easy yet you keep coming back with even more ridiculous scenarios.
