Media Streamer as an externally controllable UPnP player?
While the Media Streamer app will act as a UPnP player and a UPnP controller for other devices, has anyone persuaded it to act as a UPnP player that can be controlled by other UPnP controllers?
I thought that I would use my old 770 as a streaming media player that I could control via my N800 ... but it doesn't seem that you can. Has anyone found a means of doing so? Maybe with other software? I am currently using Mediatomb on my desktop computer as a media server and it works like a champ to each one separately. |

2nd that - Same interest here. Mediastreamer is a GREAT app, just needs to be able to act as independent uPnp-Renderer, too.

Wouldn't you want a higher powered machine to act as your uPnP renderer, though?
