N9: Email totally stopped working?
 
Totally out of the blue, email stopped working for me. The default mail client is stuck at "Checking the mailbox" with my gmail, hotmail, yahoo accounts and no emails are being downloaded :mad:
I assumed this might have been caused by a CuteTube update that I had installed over the weekend but uninstalling CuteTube did not help. Restarting the phone a couple of times did not help either. I have tonnes of free space available on my 64GB N9 too. Is anybody else experiencing this? Email was working like a dream for several months prior to this :confused:

I had similar issues few weeks back. For me, the phone asked my account passwords and would not accept them. Just simple reboot fixed it for me, but I am assuming you have done that already.

Edit: so, did you check your accounts? If reboot won't work, you can try set up the accounts again.

E-mail is working OK. You can try(as a root):

rm -rf /home/user/.qmf
if nothing else helps. There are threads here on TMO you can read as well.

This solution worked beautifully for me, many thanks!
I suspect the issue had something to do with USA Daylight Savings Time ending on Nov 3rd, the start of the email problems certainly coincided with this!
