Pandora is dead.

Anybody heard of OpenPandora is being disbanded? It is because they've ran out of money. The company has been forced to admit that it has no asset of significant value.
However, the interesting thing though is that OpenPandora Germany will continue to trade.

I never had a chance to even touch one of these..
Now that chance has changed from 1% to 0.1%

EDIT: PANDORA IS STILL NOT DEAD :D The pandora box continues to live! Seems like only the UK distributor has shut down, but the Germany one is still (producing?) the device everyday.

Re: Pandora is dead.

The OP is not true, the Pandora is very much alive, has a very active community, and is rather easy to purchase.

There were two main shops (not counting secondary distributors depending on these shops for supply), one based in the UK and one based in Germany. The Germany shop is well run and always has supply to fulfill orders, whereas the UK organization was spectacularly mismanaged, to say the least.

The issue mainly impacted those original pre-orders made via the UK organization. Those customers were strung along for years, and many still don't have the Pandora that they ordered.

Crap like this kind of (completely negligent) reporting

just doesn't help .....it's just plain damaging.

I see I see....
Well I know that their community is very much alive like ours, but just the devices and if I read correctly they won't be making any more from UK?

Yeah, this is about Craig's shop.
Craig really screwed over large parts of the OpenPandora community big time and I'm actually surprised to hear that he had to shut down his shop only just now.

Just check the linked source of the article.

OpenPandora is still alive and kicking, as others have said before me.
