[Solved] Can't running Xephyr on Ubuntu 13.10
I've installed Maemo 5 SDK on Ubuntu 13.10. Now I would run Xephyr.
I've typed the command Code:
Xephyr :2 -host-cursor -screen 800x480x16 -dpi 96 -ac & Code:
$ Initializing built-in extension Generic Event Extension |
Re: Can't running Xephyr on Ubuntu 13.10
This is not the answer you're looking for, but running your development environment on a virtual machine has several benefits, one of which is being able to use and OS/Version that works best with the tools.
I use Virtual Box running an Ubuntu 10.04 x86 architecture machine for Maemo 5 testing, but other VM managers would probably work as well. |

Thanks for the reply! I keep consider this solution as good (just for knowledge, someone told me that there are no problem with Xephyr also on Ubuntu 12.04).. But I'm not satisfied from this solution :)

Re: Can't running Xephyr on Ubuntu 13.10
have you tried using an older xephyr package from 13.04, 12.10 etc?
