Nokia application unknown SSL protocol error
 

Hi everybody

I have problem with theses two repository:

https://downloads.maemo.nokia.com/fremantle/ssu/apps/
https://downloads.maemo.nokia.com/fremantle/ssu/mr0

when i refresh them, HAM will give me an error
"unknown ssl protocol in connection to downloads.maemo.nokia.com:443"

Does anyone know where the problem is?

HAM is fine here (cssu-thumb/testing). Can you browse a https url via microb?

Also, are you on stock fremantle or a cssu variant? Try after a reboot to make sure issue is persistent.

I can access https url like Gmail, but when i click on these two repository

i get this message in MicroB:
Access Denied
You don't have permission to access "http://downloads.maemo.nokia.com/fremantle/ssu/apps/" on this server.

That is normal. So ssl works outside of HAM. There are expired cert issues with those repos but those errors state such and can be ignored. This is different. And after a reboot?

If you have access to root, try an "apt-get update" from a terminal. It should give the error in more detail.

I've rebooted my phone. Still the same problem as well.

using "apt-get update" give me exact same error 443

There is a missing / in that error. You miss it? Or check the repo entry in HAM. Trying to test in HAM here.... Also perhaps install faster app man and see.

Problem Solved
the problem was from my company WiFi firewall , they blocked so Called "Unnecessarily" ssl url :mad: :eek:

So they differentiated between browser & other https traffic.
