[Announce] Q To-Do for SailfishOS
3 Attachment(s)
This is just another brief announcement.
The first "official" SailfishOS version of Q To-Do is ready as well. I also submitted it to Harbour but it hasn't been approved yet. In the meantime, you can get it from here: https://github.com/ruedigergad/qtodo...-1.armv7hl.rpm I hope you find it useful. As usual, feedback, comments, etc. are always appreciated. I attached some screen shots as well. Edit: Q To-Do is now also available on OpenRepos: https://openrepos.net/content/ruedigergad/q-do |
Re: [Announce] Q To-Do for SailfishOS
It looks to me that the devs are MUCH more motivated & determined to develop apps for Sailfish OS than they were for Harmattan. This is good! It's a great way to welcome a new OS. Keep it like that & the phone will hopefully make it! Andrey's WhatsApp client is already made, as well as Sfiet's Facebook client (Friends), now this. :D

Re: [Announce] Q To-Do for SailfishOS
Nice but I dont like the UI that much.
Sailfish looks clean and stylish, the exclamation marks and the colors in your app are not matching the os. Happy to help you further with the UI elements if needed. |
Re: [Announce] Q To-Do for SailfishOS
First, an update with respect to the status of pushing this to Harbour.
I am linking against some libs that are not allowed to link against yet. I wrote an e-mail to the Sailfish Devel mailing list explaining my case and got the reply that they will look into allowing more libs. However, there is no assured timeframe when this will happen. Second, thanks for the feedback. The Q To-Do UI is still very much the generic UI. I already did some minor adjustments to match the Sailfish look and feel but didn't have the time to do more yet. I will certainly keep your feedback in mind and will try to improve the look and feel. Personally, I like the design language of Sailfish very much and think that the interaction concepts are truly great. However, I also have some other apps I want to port and lots of other things to do. So, I hope you don't mind and understand that, after this initial release, it may take some time until I get to improving the UI. |
Re: [Announce] Q To-Do for SailfishOS
Q To-Do is now also available via OpenRepos:
https://openrepos.net/content/ruedigergad/q-do I also updated the first post and the website. |
Re: [Announce] Q To-Do for SailfishOS
Thanks very much for bringing this also to Sailfish. The nested lists and the "progress bars" make this a unique to-do list manager, IMO.
One thing I noticed is that in this version, it seems impossible to move entries up and down the list by taping on the item with one finger and "dragging" them with another finger? I tried hard but it did not happen :p. Nothing urgent, just something I stumbled on. |
