Nokia has partnered with Navicore (www.navicoretech.com) to offer a navigation kit for the N800.

As a former Nokia N80i Navicore user (Middle East) I can say that the maps offered by Navicore are pretty top-notch.
It even let me add speed cameras with warnings as well.
Don't know how well it works on the N800 but the latest edition of Linux Journal has an in-depth review of both Navicore and Maemo Mapper running on the N800. Search around in here and you'll find plenty of info on the Navicore solution for the N800.
