[ANNOUNCE] Korean input method for Sailfish OS
I wrote this about two weeks ago, and while I was dogfooding myself for daily usage some other implementation of Korean keyboard have emerged. I think I should announce this much earlier to reduce duplicated work.
Based on Japanese Keyboard layout's custom input handler methods, I wrote a Korean input methods for Jolla. Differences from Ascense's code:
Some known bugs:
Grab the code here: https://github.com/peremen/jolla-input-ko Now available at OpenRepos: https://openrepos.net/content/peremen/dotdanbae Too bad that I announced this too late and not uploaded to anywhere :( |

Re: [ANNOUNCE] Korean input method for Sailfish OS
Work-in-progress for next release: 10-key input for Korean keyboard. There are 3 standardized layouts for 10-key Korean input: Cheonjiin, Naratgeul, SKY hangul. Among those three, I prefer Naratgeul since I used it since quite long time. Other input methods will be added after finalizing Naratgeul first. After things were stablized I will release as next version 'and' upload it to OpenRepos.
Since nobody looks interested in 10-key based layout right now, I created my own based on other layouts. Image: https://img.tl/sNXf.png |

Quick reply...
Thank you! How is it going? Any plans to package for Nemo Mobile? They are also using maliit keyboard, but the package would be deb, not rpm. Not sure what other differences there may be. Best wishes. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Per aspera ad astra... |
