Enable call back function in N900
Hi everyone and anyone!
I'm trying to get my phone to give me call backs but I can't find the setting for this. Does the N900 have to ability? Or do I need a 3rd party app? |
Re: Enable call back function
What is a call backs?

Re: Enable call back function
completely wrong subforum.
check N900 fremantle starhash-enabler. Whatever exactly you refer to by "callback", you most likely will need SSC aka network codes or USSD for it. |

Call backs are when the phone system calls you. Like if you have an international sim card and you call a number and it disconnects and the phone calls you back. Or voicemail if you don't want call charges for accessing voicemail then you set up call backs and if someone leaves you a messages then your phone rings you with the recorded message. |
Re: Enable call back function in N900
Those are all functions of your provider. Nothing you could configure in the phone or even on a networks level for that.
IIRC there been an app that been supposed to support call-thru and maybe even call-back services. Those services are regularly offered by a third party service provider (not your carrier - see for example https://www.uwtcallback.com/internat...call_back.html). Didn't know carriers offer them for voicebox too. |

Perhap (s)he meens an N900 equivalent of this? I think I've seen it mentioned on TMO a while ago but can't find it now. No idea how it would work for voicemail calls though so I suspect joerg_rw is closer to the bullseye.
