[N900/Maemo5] rsync 3.1.0
 

In case anyone is interested here is the latest version of rsync (3.1.0) compiled for Fremantle.

I ./configure'd with "--disable-largefile --disable-ipv6 --disable-locale". Should be OK for everyone.

Just unpack the gz and put it anywhere on your $PATH (/usr/local/bin does the job quite well). I've tested it against 3.1.0 (Debian testing, protocol version 31) as well as 3.0.9 (Ubuntu 12.04, protocol version 30).

Next up is openssh 6.5.. just need to pack it.
