catalaogues failed loading
 
every time i open the application manager it says that there is some catalogues failed to load like :
nokia applications , ovi ,and nokia system software updates
please help what can i do?:(

How are you connected to the internet?
Are there any limitations to the access of the internet in place at your location?
Do you have rootsh installed? If you have, please post the output of the X-Terminal of these commands

sudo gainroot
apt-get update
apt-get upgrade -s
These commands do not install anything, but may give a clue, what the reason might be.
If you cannot get the terminal output, there is a log file in Hildon Application Manager. Open the application, tab the upper bar, choose 'Log', 'Save as'.
Then attach this file to your next post.

i am in syria
a few websites is blocked here
i've done what you said and the x-terminal started to download things and then it said :
failed to fetch "http://downloads.maemo.nokia.com/fremantle/ssu/003/./packeges the request url returned error : 403"
and then :
"some index files failed to download , they have been ignored , or ones used instead "
please help

Please try to copy and paste, because typos make it more difficult to quickly locate the error!

Hm, the repositories are working fine here ...

Please try to check your repository settings for the nokia repository called 'System Updates' or similiar. There should be 'https' at the beginning.
