SMS Status not updated...
 

Hello,
i'm having the following problem. Often when i sent an SMS the Status stays at sending. I have to close the conversation and the messenger app and reopen the conversation the the time when the SMS was sent is shown. The real problem is that new messenges are not shown until i do the described procedure. This is very annoying, is there anything i can do? Or will a reflash solve my problem?

Because of that I bought Jolla. I also had to reboot to receive messages.

looks like a problem with tracker database
had this 2 times on my N9

The only solution is to reset the tracker db. on N9.


type in terminal: tracker-control -r this resets the tracker on N9.

BACKUP YOUR DATA BEFORE RUN TRACKER RESET! all your messages and contacts get deleted!!

I already resetted the tracker, but will do it again and report back in a few days.

Hi. I'm trying to reset tracker by tracker-control -r command, but it's not works, also when I trying as root. All contacts and messages are still exist. Can someone help with ?

Solved, I forgot about reboot. Shame on me...

After using “tracker-control -r”
I lost all message history n' All Contacts.
But the problem still not fixed.
What should I do now?
I v try to reboot my Phone.

I had not this problem only after the first start of my N9. From the first flashing still have it. After a few days the problem always returns, also when I dont restore contacts and messages from backup. I have no idea what else can I do.

ShutDown your CP ...
Let it About one minute ...
Start your N9 again. ...
Let it and dont use it about 15 minute ....
And now your problem should be FIXED...

Thanks a lot but it isn't works for me :( Now Sms is in sending status. When i go out from it, status is changed for sent and delivered.
