[Announce] Image Morpher for N900 Maemo Fremantle

3 Attachment(s)
This is an image morpher(distortion) app written in python.
You can distort images, morph two images together using the imagemagick perspective, shepards, bilinear distortion methods.http://www.imagemagick.org/Usage/dis...distort_filter

Deb version uploaded to repository by gianco:http://maemo.org/packages/view/morpher/

Usage:
-open two images
(in the file selection window there is no Open button so you must tap on the selected image to open)

-re-size, move the frame by dragging with the stylus and crop the images if they are not equal in size
-place anchor points, move them by dragging with the stylus
-save as image or animation(flv,swf,gif)

Dependency: python, imagemagick and for saving as swf, flv animation you must have ffmpeg installed.

I am a lousy python programmer so comments are welcome.

resulted animated flash video with the imagemagick perspective distortion methodhttp://www.shareswf.com/game/34565/morphed-on-n900
below is the animated gif resulted resized (shrink-ed) in monochrome

This way wont eat our precious memory. :):D
I do not know how to build a deb file and upload to repos. But anyhow the program is working but I am not proud about the coding.

Maybe I've found one bug again... If I try to save the animated image, looks so, that image will be saved... but I can't find the image :) I think the image wasn't saved...

Thanks :)

I tried out the deb version and I do not have any problem saving as image or as video.
Do you have installed imagemagick and ffmpeg? <-this two are not yet included in the dependency list of the deb file.
