Sailfish OS eating battery like crazy :/

Hello,

As everyone on my device I had the NFC but, then solved by update, but since the latest Sailfish update (meaning the not beta version anymore), the device is eating battery like crazy...

Meaning after 8hr in flight mode battery runs out and to be able to charge it, I need to unplug and replug the battery...

Do you have any idea where that could come from ? A top in bash gives me an average of 3-4% when only bash is active, I feel the device a bit warm on the right side so I suspect some sort of NFC bug but not sure...

Thanks

There's new OS update out today, you might want to see if pulling that makes any difference to you...?

On the other hand, I have never had that kind of problems, so it might depend on some extra stuff you have installed.

Yeap, I'm installing it right now. What worries me is that this is happening right after reset, meaning nothing on device, except my jolla account and google account for contact sync, nothing more ( that's my spare device)

Have you tried using Crest. It's like top but with a GUI.
In some instances I had similar problems. But most times stopping / terminating the culprit did the job - if not I powered down.
In most cases the device got very warm or the programs dragged substantially so I had good indication that something was not okay.

i'm having the same problem. lost 40% battery in about 2 hours.

if i remove the battery for 10 minutes and restart the device and don't use the phone for anything. it behaves well. the problem reappears after using the phone for a while (i do emails, smses, phone calls, and a couple of android apps, and web browsing).

I will monitore using crest, but what is the acceptable average load when idle ?

Average load is about 0.5-0.65 here at the moment, no applications running except crest. Some peaks at 0.80-1.00 may happen, so I guess the average load will slowly increase with time.

[Edit] Now it's about 0.85-1.10.
[Edit 2] Back to 0.06 and it is still decreasing. The variation seems to be quite high, but these are some indications for you.

My average load seems to be more 1.4 % :/
