Open TTD on N800
Is there a way to get it working on OS 2007 (N800)?

Re: Open TTD on N800
Apparently this guy got it working a while ago:

Re: Open TTD on N800
OpenTTD runs without a problem on the n800 you only can not install it directly with the application manager. But you have to do it manual:
dpkg -i openttd_0.4.7jtra-1_armel.deb Non-free data files are expected to reside at /media/mmc1/openttd/data/ (sample.cat, trg1r.grf, trgcr.grf, trghr.grf, trgir.grf and trgtr.grf) You can find the OpenTTD shortcut in the start menu. Everything works for me except the midi music. So no need for a patch or other difficult ways! |
Re: Open TTD on N800
Thank you! Going to try that out.

Re: Open TTD on N800
Probably going to sound like a real newbie, but I tried dpkg -i openttd_0.4.7jtra-1_armel.deb in X Terminal. I had to instal the become root package to make it work (from the XFCE topic).
It all seamed to work as intended, but now. How do I run openttd? |

Re: Open TTD on N800
Uhh.. I'm having trouble. I got the package from the site provided, I go into File Manager and open it. It comes up like any other package, it opens up Application Manager and says that its Incompatible or something. I can't help but feel I'm missing something altogether. Are there any like Step By Step instructions or anything?
