Nintendo New 3DS is using The Other Half ...?
 
Nintendo announced a new 3DS called "New 3DS" (way to go Nintendo...) just a couple days ago.

I've noticed something interesting about the new New 3DS. (ugh...)
It uses "The Other Half" technology.

Unlike the 3DS, the New 3DS has a built-in NFC reader.
The New 3DS is capable of changing cases, called "Cover Plates". It has a NFC chip on it. When you change the Cover Plate, it will change the theme of your New 3DS. (It will download the new theme, just like on the Jolla)

but yeah, much innovation, wow idea. has jolla already publicly congratulated them with their idea?

No, just NFC. Like the official Other Half cases of Jolla
