maemo.org - Talk - Problems with sending & receiving SMS

Hello,

my GF and I have both N9, mine with global FW and her's from local telco (Mobitel, but probably not important), we are also with different operators (Vodafone, Mobitel).

Both devices have problem(s) with sending and receiving SMS's from certain numbers.

Overally service works OK, but sometimes one send SMS and other one doesn't receive it despite "delivered" status on senders device. Mild case is that SMS is delivered with delay.

In worst case I have to close Messages, reopen specific person and SMS is immediatelly "delivered" with timestamp when was originally sent and marked as delivered.

I also have recent case when my message was delivered, but in reality never came to other device, it does not exist (can post screenshots).

I contacted both operators but (as usuall ...) helpdesk is not very helpfull as devices are uncommon & discontinued. Before I escalate problem I'd like to make sure this is not something strictly related to N9 -- It's my first time having such problem, but GF told me she had same problem before with other devices (coincidetly, all devices were Nokia :)
