Adding items to N900 top button menu

The digitizer on my N900 is getting flakey, & I'm trying to work around it.

1. Isn't there an application to add items to the N900's top button menu (the one with Switch Off, CSSU Features, etc.)

2. Is there a command to bring up the task switcher?

3. Is there a command to bring up the application list?

1. Don't know.
2. Ctrl + Backspace
3. Ctrl + Backspace (2 times).

1) Yes, but be careful incorrectly formatted xml file will cause a boot loop

2) Yes, Ctrl and Bkspace

3) Not sure about this one.
You can open most things with DBus

Come to think of it you maybe able to make Ctrl Bkspace do this with a modified transitions file.
