List of opened windows
Hi guys,
I would like to automatize a phone reboot. My intention is to execute it weekly in the night. But I need to ensure that I will not lost data in some opened application. Is there a way to retrieve the list of the opened windows (I refer to the accessible windows pressing the task-bar corner)? In that way I will execute the reboot only if there aren't opened applications. |
Re: List of opened windows
_NET_CLIENT_LIST is what you looking for or you can use wmctrl.

Re: List of opened windows
It might be a better idea to focus on active processes, not windows. Maybe?

Re: List of opened windows
How do you reboot? I for example write in the command line "reboot" but the phone simply shutdown, so I have to manually start it.

@malakai
I guess you are on KP (power kernel) or CSSU? Then this is known behaviour. Sometimes reboot sometimes shutdown, |
Re: List of opened windows
Yes I'm on CSSU Stable, but for me it always shutdown, never rebooted. Weird...

Sincerely it is passed much time from the last non-reboot and shutdown only. |
