n9 not working
 

hi ... sorry 4 my english ...

i have nokia n9 ...
the screen is broken but the toch is ok

but now the device not powerd

and vibirat on start just the led light and nothing

how can i connect to mass stoarge ... my sister will ve mad all her work on the divice ... please help

hm, when connected to powersupply and turned on,
then it may be visible via usb, but only when that option is checked in phone. But when the phone asks about opening usb, when you connect it, then you need a working screen.

when it automaticly connects via your wlan/wifi and developer mode is activated you may access it via ssh/scp. But if you not yet know that option, i expect the needed developer mode to be inactive

you could buy another N9 and exchange the display (you only need a Torx-T3 screwdriver to replace display). maybe you can also buy a replacement-display, there are dealers who sell it and you may find them via google

There are several ways to do this, easiest is to use flasher to load a rescue kernel to the device. That will export the filesystems to the external host for mounting.

i download WinFlasher_3.12.1.exe

and dont know how to load a rescue kernel ???

and my n9 connect to pc via the usb date cable ??

please help and i will not forget your vavour ...

• 1.) Download newest ubiboot package and untar it, you need just the file zImage_2.6.32.54-ubiboot-02_301013.
• 2.) Boot it with flasher command "sudo flasher -k zImage_2.6.32.54-ubiboot-02_301013 -l -b"
• 3.) When the device boots up it will export USB drives to the PC

If you are running windows you can only access MyDocs (mmcblk0p1).
If You are running linux you can access all partitions.
However, most of the user data (videos, pictures, music) are on MyDocs. If you want to get SMS'se, email, etc. then you need access to home directory (mmcblk0p3)
