A question about forum displays.
On another vBulletin message board I subscribe to, when I enter a thread, I am always shown the first post. On this board, I am always taken to the last page (last post, maybe). I don't see an option to change it (I have selected the option to show the first post first). I definitely don't want to view the most recent post first and that appears to be what it's doing.

Open the thread section. If there is only 1 page of posts, clicking the thread link works as you like. Otherwise, click the number 1 and you're there.

There are 3 ways (that I know of) to open a thread:
1) Click on the thread title. It opens the thread at the first post. 2) Click on the little icon to the right of the name of the last poster (the column where it says 'Today 06:04 AM .. by <name>). It opens the thread at the last post. 3) Click on the little icon to the left of the thread title. It opens the thread at the first article you haven't read yet. |
