Jolla NFC-OH

Hello!

Im going to build a NFC Other half for myself, but tought since i'm going to make some pcbs n stuff, why not ask if anyone else is interested? Send me a pm or comment this thread if so.

What im working towards:
LibNFC support, hopefully PN532 based.
Portable.

Printing is done on Xyz davinci.

Pricing is unknown, but fast calculations looks like 50 Euro per OH.

More to come someday.

Just a quick post to say: This is a great idea! Hope it's coming along well. Perhaps, in the not so distant future, I'll be able to use my YubiKey's NFC function with my Jolla :)

Will you be using your own NFC harware build into the TOH or attach to the one build into the phone (I'm thinking about maybe a way to boost its range) ?

The hardware build into the phone seems to be PN544:

I was building, and had success on using a pn532 miniboard from deek-robot. but now my jolla is dead and got no cash for a new one, so development is halted. I dont think its possible to boost the nfc in the phone without hacking it hardware vise, but since it's dead, i might just drill two holes and add a bigger nfc antenna.
