Fake call app?
Anyone has an idea how to initiate a fake call? With the easily accesible from lockscreen shortcuts, having an app that would after some delay (to move hand outside of pocket) generate a fake call you reallly really need to answer would be perfect, but I have no idea how to/where to even start.
Could be a simple bash script that just waits for half a minute and then makes a fake dbus call, but again, not sure if there is documentation about this or one would need to capture the call themselves (if it is dbus even, just guessing) |
Re: Fake call app?
From lockscreen I would say it is not possible.
But have a look at the eSpeakTime sources for triggering eSpeak with double-click of power button in locked state. And instead eSpeak message start the ringing tone (how to: ???). --edit Oops, sorry. Totally wrong answer as I missed it is in SFOS section  |
Re: Fake call app?
It should be possible, for an easy/poor implementation just execute media player with path to your ringtone, but would really like to have the full fakedness: switched on screen blinking, with the pulley menus, hmm maybe easier to just copy jolla's qml code for call ui and invoke that without 'faking' a call to the phone itself

Re: Fake call app?
patch callui and add faking functions, or just clone callui interface and make a fun app.
