how to get Warning: Unresponsive script dialog off the screen?
Regardless of whether I press Stop script or Continue, the dialog won't go away. Things get started in the background (phone rings, event reminders, etc) but I can't get to the desktop. Other than shutting down, what can I do?

Read this thread or one of it 'affiliates'. Or maybe just around this post (one/two pages before and after).

Re: how to get Warning: Unresponsive script dialog off the screen?
Hmmmm but the desciptions of the hildon home bug seem to be high CPU utilization. That's not necessarily what I saw; I could still easily start e.g. the phone (from the power key menu). Then again, I could not see my CPU load as I could not start e.g. Conky.
Also, in your workaround, where do timeout and strace come from? They are not in busybox. |
