[SOLVED] Pebble time not working
 

Hello, I'm new here on the forum and I have problem with setting up my jolla with a new pebble time I just received. I keep getting this

image on my screen of the pebble even though I have the 'pebble' app running from warehouse. This is the screenshot

The watch and phone are paired but it doesnt seem to go to the next step somehow, rebooting and force shutdown didnt seem to fix anything, i hope someone can help or i will have a useless watch :eek: I did see a message about firmware that is too old so i did a donation and hopefully can upgrade that afterwards , I'm not sure if that would fix it but when i go to info of the pebble it does say Firmware Unknown so maybe I have to update it first.

The error I have is Your firmware is too old to support SDKv2 applications.

Best to post there to make sure Smoku sees it. He recently got a Pebble Time, so hopefully he'll be familiar with the process! I'm hoping to get a Pebble Time Steel when I get the chance to preorder (missed the kickstarter), so I'll be watching with interest :)

Asked it trough the bug report
and it got fixed by updating the firmware :-)

Pebble Time comes without firmware installed.
It has recovery firmware only, so first thing you need to do is connect it to the app and upload real firmware using firmware upgrade feature.
