Nokia N9 - inner Metal Side bar - question
 

Does anyone know what the intended use is for the inner metal side bar? I couldn't see any benefits other than keeping the battery cover more stable. The battery cover when screwed down seems to be very stable on its own.

Any thoughts on this would be great.

I figured this dealt with a different issue regarding what use the inner metal bar has.
