Council election announcement overdue
 

Last Council elections have been held (closed) on 2015-01-04 so the next election was supposed to happen (close) on 2015-07-04.
Holy council rules, which were subject to serious dispute here, are being ignored by council since 7 weeks now (elections are on the agenda since 2015-06-02).

This means we'll see a delay of at least 2 months.
And nobody complains... Remarkable ;)

I guess if council chair (wikiwide), who's in charge here, doesn't make it happen and the other councilors only stand by, board will have to take the initiative... :eek:

You are correct there.

The election announcement has been delayed because council wanted to hold the referendum on amending council rules at the same time as council election, and preparing the referendum has taken more time than anticipated.

Holiday season also has caused problems getting the council to meet together.
