Bottom posting with Jolla Email
 

Im always told Sailfish is "open" so you you can change anything you want. Im old school and Im a bottom poster in my emails. I also delete the persons previous email or carefully reply in line to any sections when I reply.

It seems that the default options are that the previous persons email is included and the cursor is flashing ready for input at the top

How can I change this behaviour?


Even starting a reply with a blank email would be better

The email client is open source. Except the UI.

Really quick look around; the message editing QML seems to be in /usr/lib/qt5/qml/com/jolla/email/EmailComposer.qml
Patching that should get you started :D
