Please need help to update n9 to pr 1.3
 

Hi everyone , a bought a cyan N9 a couple of days ago and unfortunately it was not updated to pr 1.3, the seller told me the phone was originally from Austria, I live in the UK. The phone does find the update to pr 1.3 but it wont download. ive also learned the hard way that nokia accounts are now shut down but I'm ok with it all I want is to update it, ive had a couple of n9's befores but never hacked or flashed them I'm not very familiar with flashing. please any help is appreciated . thanks

Your first problem will be finding a suitable firmware version to flash, but this should help:

Above article specifies the various Harmattan flashers dependent upon OS that you intend using, which should help you track appropriate version down, e.g. WinFlasher_3.12.1.exe

If device has not been re-housed product code should be underneath SIM holder or on small white label revealed when USB door open and SIM holder removed. Austria 16GB Cyan probably 059K0X8
