Mmc Problem
Hi,
I have a Nokia 770 with OS 2006 Version 3.2006.49-2. I purchased a MMC Mobile 2GB (Kingston). Unfortunately my 770 seems unable to properly recognize this card. When I put it inside I get a message saying the memory is corrupted or not formatted. When I try to format it in the 770 it fails. The same memory works fine in my Dell PC. The PC recognizes it and I can read/write from it. The 770 has no problems reading/writing the 64 MB MMC that came with it. I would appreciate any suggestion. Thank you. |
Re: Mmc Problem
That OS should support the card. I have the same card and OS and my 770 has no problem with it.
I am not an expert, but I would probably reflash the OS and see what happens. http://www.nokiausa.com/A4410232 |

However, I remember reading somewhere to try inserting the card without pushing it all the way in until it clicks. Just push it in far enough to allow you to close the little door. I did not need to do this, but it would be worth trying. Don. |
