Unison 2.40 on Ubuntu - realistic?
 

With the latest versions of Debian and Ubuntu, the most recent version of Unison available for the N900 in the repos (v2.32) is no longer available.

Would it be a massive amount of work to build Unison 2.40?

Thank you very much for that info. I hadn't thought of the possibility of a statically-linked binary!

I shall go and try it and let you know how I get on.
