SD Wireless Card with packet injection?
 

Since nobody been able to enable packet injection on the build in wireless card is there anyway of getting a SD based card that can do injection working with the N800?

Or is the SD reader or firmware limited in some way to stop this?

Yup, certainly a question I'd like answering too although I'd rather use a USB stick with RT2500 or ZD1211 chipset

Has been discussed. SDIO support for linux kernel is in early stage so it is not possible right now. And besides, where would you put such card? They are longer than memory cards due to antenna so they won't fit inside and would stick out the external slot.

Yeh, thanks for that Bluehash, So has anyone out there who has patched the kernel got any USB wifi stick to work ? (packet injecting or otherwise?)

I use a cheapy laptop or Zawroos to do the hard work but it would be nice to have the whole thing running on one platform.

I'm a patient man and will have to wait! needless to say me Zawroos C-1000 is currently being sold (sad to see it go) and truly believe the N800 is the device of the future, I love it. I (ahem) work for a company who is designing WiMAX kit for a large rollout (sadly not in the UK, yet) and hope were all succesful then I wont have to piddle around cracking WEP to get a free connection! Role it oot nuw! :)
