Any progress with N800 to PC video chat?
 

Are there any solution about that problem ? I have sold my N770 last month.And i'm considering to buy n800 if that problem is solved.Not everyone has got N800 but PC.

I'm confused on the problem. Skype works pretty well with n800. Had a video conversation with a friend in Illinois (I'm in Michigan) the other day.

Say-wha? You mean you used the N800 and were able to both send and receive video through that client to someone else who was using Skype on the PC?
I thought video was unsupported in Skype for the N800?

The released Skype client for the N800 does not currently support video calls. Sorry.

That's what I thought. I check for app updates everyday and didn't see any new skype client update that would enable this.
And I think these forums would be on fire with news that a Skype client update with video enabled had been released.
Too bad it's not been released, if it ever will be.

My bad. Forgot that he didn't have his camera working. I was just happy to have the phone functions working so well. Voice call was very clear.

Gizmo had a beta out for N800 & Windows that got pulled 1-2 weeks ago (though expected back). I got the N800 client installed, but can't find anyone with who got the Windows version downloaded before it was pulled.
