Anyone able to build boost / libboost-dev?
 

Hello, i've been trying to get boost built and it's a beast.

apt-get source boost

It wants gcc / g++ 4.1 but it seemed to build partially for me with gregale's gcc 3.4. (just had to change the gcc-4.1 and g++-4.1 to gcc / g++ in rules).

Also tried disabling building ICU but that didn't work neithur.

rules:JAM = $(bjam) -d2 --user-config=$(shell pwd)/user-config.jam -sHAVE_ICU=0

if someone wants to give it a shot pls use this thread to post notes.
