Some packages not listed in HAM?
Can anybody tell me why for example the package "wmctrl" which is listed in the repository " Fremantle Extras free armel" cannot be found using the application manager? Installing it using apt-get works without a problem.
If a package depends on such an unlisted package, can HAM solve the dependency or is it unable to download it? |
Re: Some packages not listed in HAM?
HAM only lists "user" packages. Sorry, there is an official word for it but it has just slipped my mind. It does not list system packages, libraries and the like, but it will install them if they are listed as a dependency.
If you want to install "invisible" packages manually, use apt-get of FAM. |

So my question has been answered completely and my doubts got smashed.

Re: Some packages not listed in HAM?
If you turn on Red Pill Mode (needs CSSU), you can set HAM to show all packages.
