You could flash the firmware on the device. This will bring the device in the state you bought it. If your Using:
-Linux: http://maemo.org/community/wiki/howt...magewithlinux/
-Mac: http://maemo.org/community/wiki/howt...agewithmacosx/
-Windows: no clue sry.

For windows, there's not much that you can truly do without getting Linux. I have a tutorial for this case, that keeps your Windows in tact, without the computer ever knowing Linux was even there in the first place. I hope it helps!

Why it is necessary to have Linux to reflash your Nokia?
Link from Nokia support site with instructions is here.
Update the software on your Nokia Internet Tablet using your Windows PC.
Is there any any difference between reflashing from Windows and Linux?

It's not - you can use Windows or Linux.

Yes there is a difference - you can do a lot more with the Linux flasher tool, for example flashing individual firmware components (ie. replacing just the kernel) or setting/unsetting device attributes such as R&D mode. The Windows flasher tool is dumbed down and only allows device flashing and nothing more.

If you only have a Windows PC, consider downloading a Linux LiveCD for when you want to flash or otherwise configure your tablet.

How does the Mac flashing tool compare to the Linux tool?
