Installing SailfishOS on Nexus 7 (grouper)
Hi,
Looking at installing SailfishOS on a Nexus 7 which is almost useless with the most up to date Android. The Mer adaptions page links to Download CyanogenMod 10.1.3 that isn't downloadable (over quota) and a broken link to the instructions. I can't find the exact download by Googling Can anyone tell me if a newer CyanogenMod build will work and where I can find instructions? Thanks, Gabriel |

According to the file list in https://itvends.com/android/ there is torrent link which should provide it (I didn't test it). The correct checksum you can fetch from here https://archive.fo/7D342 to check whether it are really the same files.

Re: Installing SailfishOS on Nexus 7 (grouper)
Though I want to see Sailfish on this device too, look at this (LineageOS 14.1 20170609 unofficial):
https://forum.xda-developers.com/nex...-2012-t3530261 This works very good and is really fast. But try to install an older image first like 20170315 - second thread!!! and then upgrade to the newest one (see whole thread). When you try to install the newest one directly you may have problems going through the startup wizzard (nobody knows why) [Update] Before installing think about formatting to f2fs and install ftrim (like trimmer) afterwards. This just boosts up the speed. All stuff is discussed in the thread |
