Re: Bluetooth Mouse
What mouse do you have Penguinbait? My Bluetake BT500 mini mouse wont pair with the n800. Is there a way to turn off BT security so it doesn't need a code?

Re: n810 USB adapter and host mode made easy
Confirmed: Simpletech Bonzai does not work with n800 - tried various Sd cards. My generic SD card reader doesnt work either.
Dedicated flash sticks work fine. Maybe not enough power for the SD...

Re: External battery pack for N8x0/770.
Got some numbers for the SoShine BeOne 4xAAA charger from DealExtreme. Starting with a fully charged n800 + Soshine using 4xAAA (SoShine 900mah) it played continuous video for 6 hours and 6 minutes....

Re: External battery pack for N8x0/770.
I'm going to re-run my mplayer test using the generic 4xAAA Soshine unit I bought from DealExtreme for $15 (including 4xAAA 900mah NiMH batteries - $9 for charger, $6 for batteries). At that price...

Re: External battery pack for N8x0/770.
mplayer ran continuously from 8:25pm to 5:22am - so thats just shy of 9 hours.
It might be possible to get longer if I waited until the battery was lower (i.e. 50%) before activating the battery...

Re: External battery pack for N8x0/770.
My Tekkeon MP1550 arrived in the mail today. First impressions are that is very small (~30% larger than 4xAAs), looks nice but is pretty flimsy - sliding battery door isn't super secure and may come...

Re: N800 USB Host Mode Experiment
FYI - just tried adding power via 4xAAA NiMH with two different 2.5in usb drives. Has just enough current to spin it up when fully charged but isn't reliable and wont work after a few mins.
