IMHO pidgin has rather stray dependencies.
I try to install pidgin, but fail with the error:
# apt-get install pidgin

I understand about m3u. And how to make standard Mediaplayer work again? I've rebooted device many times, but it doesn't start all the same.

After I tried to open m3u playlist with default mediaplayer it doesn't start anymore. "Starting..." balloon is on the screen several seconds and then nothing happens.

It goes worse day-by-day. In almost all "heavy" applications any of hardware button sticks: +/- scale in MaemoMapper, left/right in PDF viewer etc.

bluehash, of course, I've forgotten. In apps installer "down" sticks very often.
Karel Jansens, screen-protector is not the reason. I have no it, but the problem exists.
