I also gave up, when nothing ( slapping etc) can help. I send it few days ago by priority mail. I reflashed nothing thus I have some concerns that they may claim that I install something that hurts...

Try just knock the device, I am not joking. When I slap it quite strong it comes back. Sometimes it is working for few days without problem, sometimes not. My problem is that I don't want to send it...
