Make sure you have RDP enabled on the computer that you want to connect to. Are you able to connect to the computer with a laptop, or some other computer on the same network?

If you have personal menu, you can add a shortcut to it in there, and you won't need to have the terminal open. My goal is to eventually create a package for this, but packaging annoys me a lot :P ...
