I assinged a fixed ip via the N800 only (before reading your post) and it didn't work.

Then I scanned for unprotected WLANs in my area. Found one and voila! I was able to connect to the poor...

digging through this site, I found two more suggestions for this sort of problem

1. Disable and enable the icd2. I'm not at all familiar with unix or Linux so I don't know how to do that. Help on...

Yes I have the N800.

I assume you guys are talking about a Zyxel, rather than Zykel, router. That is what I have and the point about the power saving problem is intriguing. While I don't know much...
