how to upgrade vim in scratchbox

the version of vim in scratchbox is 6.3, many plugins for vim can't be used, so is it possible to upgrade vim to 7? thanks

Thanks! I got it. It is absolutely a big problem. In order to build this package, I have installed grep-gnu, gcc, g++, make..., which has taken up too many space of my rootfs.

Currently I am programming with gtk and maybe in a few months I will move on to qt. Since qt can do a very good job in network programming, I will take a look. Thank you very much!

i have tried by cleaning the cache, the available space of my rootfs is about 40 Mb, but the upgrade process needs about 90Mb
