lostinmirkwood - you almost got it, I was happy, it started installing, went few miles, oh there are again some errors. I am kind of thinking do I wait till maemo dev on windows gets bit 'stronger'....

I could browse websites in FF inside the console; so the network connection is up; I also turned off all the firewalls/antiv.

I guess your installer should be small as possible, people would be...

Is the connecting to 1.0.0.0 would be solved with your new build. I still get that error at step3. nothing seems could get pass that.

Also with the new build, will all the components...

You are right, I think I saw a timeout error at the end of scratchbox installation. So when it gets up...do I run the step3 script.

Maemo power switch also didn't move the message.

I did file menu resent much later. Changes were saved well, I went back to see step2:setup Eula..could see the url I saved from Step1

Step3 opens with

You must restart the virtual machine first!
Press any key to continue

Pressing a key closes it, I reopen XP virtual pc console, file menu reset it. restarted pc. Nothing moves...

My connection lost at 98% on scratchbox download (actually the firewall wasn't liking the alien pc inside pc). It started from the beginning, so deleted...

I could see the three files inside 7zip file manager, what is next.

Could anyone please write 1, 2, 3, 4.. steps on how to install Maemo-Fremantle.7z on XP. What else needed and from where.
