Yes, it does. I have streamed TS files from mythtv via upnp. The mediaplayer doesn't support seeking in a stream though.

Try again? I am able to use rootsh and leafpad to edit config files. Of course, permissions will have to be rw on the file you want to edit. chmod +w will add it if necessary.

I don't think so. Sliding the lock switch is the same as pushing the power button and "Lock screen and keys." To change volume while locked just push the power button first.
