Re: Porting Maemo Camera Example to QT
I use a quick'n'dirty method to create my pipelines...for now, anyway ;)
gst_init(NULL, NULL);
pipeline = gst_parse_launch("v4l2src device=/dev/video[0|1] ! xvimagesink", NULL);

Re: Multiple Cameras
Is there a way I can grab the kernel source without using scratchbox?
A simple link to a repository?
I don't want to build the kernel - not yet, anyway - but rather simply inspect the code to...

Re: Multiple Cameras
How are you attempting this, noobmonkey?
Are you just creating/closing pipelines alternately, and overlaying the incoming frames as fast as you can? In C, of course ;)
That would seem to be the...

Multiple Cameras
I would like to create a diagnostic app that shows the output from both the /dev/video0 and /dev/video1 cameras simultaneously.
To keep things simple, I'm using the gst_parse_launch( "v4l2src...

Re: JAVA on the N900 is possible!
From the contact I've had, and my parsing of all the relevant text available at java.sun.com, I think there is sufficient penumbra to honestly consider my N900 "deployment" to be free from royalty...

Re: Official: No (commercial) MeeGo for the N900
Nokia have serious business concerns related to the finite assets they have to maintain OS/app products across platforms.
If their new devices offer significantly different hardware, and usability...

Re: [Announce] - mmjre - Java for N900
That one simple change fixed it. Thanks :) One-click jar execution from the file manager is now a reality. Nice.
However, I notice that when you browse your filesystem in the web browser...

Re: [Announce] - mmjre - Java for N900
New version available from the first page.
Apologies for the hassle, but it's probably wisest to uninstall/reinstall.
There are a couple of final wrinkles to iron out with this beta before it...

Re: [Announce] - mmjre - Java for N900

Forgive me if I don't get into it right now, as I'm trying to iron out a few final wrinkles with mmjre - the JRE installs fine, and the jarexec/javalauncher...
