I've not hacked the N900 too much up till now as it was my main phone that I couldn't afford to have down... However, I've just upgraded to the N9 from my N900, so I want to play with the N900...

I had some issues when I was connected to wifi - if you're connected to that, disconnect and connect to the 3g service...

You may have to change your email settings and tick the "Incoming notifications" button. I don't get notified when new emails arrive - but they do arrive, which is how I want it

There is a setting that sets what to synchronise within the exchange client on the phone - by default it's set to only get the messages from 3 days previous... I would assume that if you set that to...

I know most of us on here are way too cool for school to use Hotmail... But for those that do want to get email pushed to them, MS have created Hotmail Exchange.

Can you get more than one Exchange...

read through the thread, looking for location of config file for the version in extras-devl (0.3-1maemo0). the first post says the file is in /etc/omapcam/cm4397.enc

but no such file exists...

I too am with 3 in Australia, but I have a data plan. Which without I would find the N900 rather lacking as it is an internet tablet with a phone rather than a phone with internet capabilities. ...
